Salinas City BBQ

Very friendly service, very clean great place to have dinner. Order rib eye steak and brisket. Both were beyond dry and no flavor at all. Beans and potatoe salad were awful. Was scared to eat the red mushrooms. Never seen that type of mushrooms before. Will give it another try tho.

As we have been hosted "around the corner" we decided to go there for dinner. We have not expected something special but were absolutely surprised. The food was very delicious and had great portions. The owner was very nice and we felt also very welcome (I still like the music taste and we chatted a little about it). Also the many different beers are definitely worth a visit. Would definitely come here again!

Good food and staff was polite. Atmosphere is very relaxed. Had the bison ribs and it was super delicious. Only have good things to say about this place. If you are in the area, check it out.

We were out visiting a friend in Salinas and stumbled across this gem. I can't lie when we drove by I was a bit hesitant I mean talk about judging a book by its cover I was a little weary but decided I was so hungry I was going to go in and I'm so glad that I did. The staff is great and food was simply Delicious I'm so upset that I don't live closer cause this is the spot. I wasn't in love with the sides but the BBQ itself was yummy
