Hog Island Oyster Co

Since it was my first time in Napa and at the Oxbow Public Market, I wanted to try a few different things so we started off with some oysters! I asked the hostess to help recommend two contrasting types of oysters for us to try and she did. Due to the quantity of wines I tasted that day, I don't remember the names of oysters. But they were very good!! They were served with lemon and this really yummy green herb sauce.

This place is inside Oxbow Public Market which is a really cool food hall in Napa. Highly recommend you check it out! One important thing to note is their hours - they close kinda early so don't expect to go here for a late dinner.

This is the most outstanding Hog Island oysters and services I have ever had! Thank you! I ate 24 of the best raw oysters and I was in heaven. Our server, the shucker, the hostess and the manager were excellent! I used to live in Port Townsend Washington and have eaten Puget Sound oysters my entire life. But they dont compare to Hog Island Oysters.

The stars are for their fried oysters which they pile on a bun and serve with delicious house pickled vegetables. To die for! Service also very good. A great experience overall. Outdoor tables available. Located in the oxbow market.

Not an Oyster fan, but I SO am now. Absolutely amazing selection of oysters. Served up beautifully. We even went back the second night. Definitely wait and sit at the bar. Such friendly staff and atmosphere is great. A good vibe all round. Would 100% return.

Waited for a table about 20min at 2:30pm. But they bring food quickly after you order. Oysters were very very very fresh! One of the best oysters I’ve ever had. Because the place is very limited, you might share your table with random people.
