The Stone House

Crazy amazing nostalgic atmosphere with plenty of renowned history! Sure, it may be haunted, but even ghosts know how to boogie down in style. ;D Karaoke is hosted on Wednesday nights, while the stage is frequented with stellar live local acts.

After a year my boyfriend and I decided to give the Stone House another chance and I can say I am really surprised at their make-over. The food is delectable, unique, and well thought out just as well as global wine offerings.  The service was prompt and friendly. The manager helped us pick out our bottle of wine as well as guided us through the menu with my cilantro and nut allergy.  We will be making The Stone House our destination date spot. ????

Love the trip back in time with this place! The rustic charm, great food and service, full bars and entertainment make it a must see when in town. Great local gem

A lovely place to dine. Relaxed atmosphere in the upstairs dining room. Downstairs Bar and dining a little more lively with an offset room with live music. Food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. For vegetarians this is an excellent place to dine with enough to also please the meat lover. Excellent choice of wines with many of them coming from Europe. Sadly no Australian or New Zealand wines. But as a wise man once said "you can't have everything" I loved this restaurant.

This has become my favorite restaurant in Nevada city. It took a while, but I’ve been back every month or so for the past several months, and it’s really become a wonderful place. The food is inventive, unexpected and super delicious. The service is great (Jonathan was awesome). The atmosphere is top notch. It’s really a wonderful place. If you’re choosing between stone house and new moon, give it a try. You won’t regret it.
