Great owners and excellent drinks and food! What a wonderful time! ????????????????????
Thank you for letting have a blast. This place is Awesome! The Barko's and my mother in law Carol and the Best Unlce ever, uncle Jerry! Can't wait till we come back again! ????????????????????
Staff including one of the owners who tripled as bartender and server, were very friendly. Nice to see an owner doing it all. The food was a little salty for our palette and mediocre. Would take the chance at another Mexican restaurant.
Hands down the absolute best Mexican food I have ever had. I had the carne asada and everything about it was PERFECT! I had carry out so I can’t say how it was inside but that really was the yummiest!
If you are into Tequila they have about 100 to choose from.
Food is decent, service friendly and fast. Try it out
I used to visit this place a few times a year, whenever I was in Truckee. Over time however, I became less enamored of it. It's not only about the food, which is okay but rather bland, so much as the service. I ate there again just a few days ago, and there were a couple of incidents of miscommunication between the waiter and people in our group, which is not a big deal, it happens, but the attitude of the waiter seemed to imply that he was not mistaken when he clearly was. He simply misheard what was said. He could have been a bit more gracious about it, but chose instead to cop an attitude. It was all fine in the end, but this seems to be a prevailing attitude here and is the main reason I rate this place 3 stars. I'm aware that there are locals who are regulars here who would argue the point, but I'm gonna guess that their experience of this place is better on the whole than it is for people from out of town. And I would contend that people in the service industry shouldn't play favorites with locals. I totally get the temptation to do so, but I think it's immature and unprofessional. I think everyone who walks through the front door and patronizes an establishment should be treated equally.
