    Truckee Thursdays. Bar was slammed. Luckily between 3 bartenders they got things correct. Kitchen got crushed too. Steak was good. Sides were barely warm and sauce was tasteless.

    Quaint, enjoyable spot to eat. Food was wonderful! (Get the bruschetta.)

    Um, Yes. Completely Shocked at this place. Food was truly amazing. We had a large group so tasted a few dishes. I had the bison burger and wife got the chicken and waffles. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and they had a wonderful attention to detail of flavors. Will go again

    Great food. Fun setting. I've been to Truckee quite a few times and always wanted to stop here but never did. We came in for lunch before heading to the slopes and were not disappointed. My wife got the all American burger with the house salad and loved it. I got the Bison Burger which was also pretty good. Also, since we're from the Bay Area, we were surprised to see a local menu item on the bar list. They serve an Irish coffee.... Paying tribute to the Buena Vista in San Francisco and it was spot on.

    Very nice atmosphere. Service was pretty good. The food was okay. Great menu items, but most of the things we ordered were not very flavorful or unbalanced. Wood fire pizza was good. Deserts looked good. Chicken sandwich looked good. Wine wasn’t overly marked up. Certainly some good things about the Bar of America.
