    Early morning breakfast was amazing, great hospitality and a full cup of coffee. Oh and the cinnamon rolls are not the same as every one else's ... special ingredient taste was amazing. Thanks Shavon!

    Love this diner. They had amazing comfort food in huge portions. Coffee was decent and the staff was nice.

    The owner is amazing.. great service and good old fashioned home made food. So glad we stopped. Makayla says hi and thanks for the fries!!

    OUTSTANDING !! Food is great. Fast service with a never empty coffee cup. Priced moderately. A hit with the locals! Stop on by and say to Brian and Siobahn.

    We have been going here for years and love it! The food is great and always more than you can eat. We mostly go for breakfast (ask for hot chocolate with whipped cream, trust me), but today we went for lunch and got the bacon cheeseburgers and were not disappointed! The servers are efficient but also nice and sweet - we've even made friends with some after coming back time after time! The restaurant's atmosphere is fantastically eccentric - there are gorgeous old photos of Tahoe and Truckee, witty signs, a collection of license plates from almost every state, and a model train track running overhead - if you ask, the servers will turn it on for those young and young at heart. The family-run cafe is a staple of our Truckee trips, and it should be for you too!
