Mariscos Los Chavalones Mexican Restaurant

Delicious Seafood! They need to improve their salsa only.

My low score is for no fountain drinks, only cans or bottles, though they have horchata & Jamaica; and the rather loud jukebox with Hispanic music.

They seem to have large portions of everything, especially the asada fries.

Much better food than the big name chain Mexican restaurants in O.C. (one starts Acap... the other has initials of D.J. and similar.)

They are very flavorful, even with out the spicy sauces.

Great food, great service definitely worth another trip

Went here on Sunday after church for some seafood, their food was off the wall good. Me and my wife had the chavalones seafood cocktail, my daughter had a fish taco grilled, lastly my son had the chicken tenders from the kids meal. The seafood cocktail was so fresh, especially since the weather outside was like 90ish, it was refreshing and had a good amount of shrimp and squid. My daughter loved her taco, she only likes it with tomatoes which they accommodated. The chicken tenders my son had were crispy, not soggy, and the fries were also crisp. Overall we had a nice experience, restaurant full of families on Sunday, so get there right after church.
