Ballast Point Brewing Anaheim

The service was great. The kids meals came fast and looked delicious. And I really liked the simple yet decent selection for kids. Being that this is located in downtown Disney- I was hoping it was going to be more kid friendly that most breweries.
The 2 adults never got their food. We needed to be somewhere by a certain time. They apologized, seemed to give an honest answer of why our food got mixed up. And fixed our bill. We left the restaurant incredibly pleased that they really tried to do what they could to make us happy. We didn't want anything - I was just satisfied with an honest answer and not making excuses or redirecting blame that I seem to get with other restaurants. I'm going to recommend this to local parents looking for a weeknight dinner with kids.

Had a reservation so we didn’t have to wait like a lot of people have had to. We walked through the bar area and man was that a cramped space, soooo many people and very little space. We were seated in the “reservation section” our waitress showed up like, 10 minutes later..... yea. She immediately seemed annoyed with us, and her attitude was obnoxious. We ordered our food and we didn’t see her again until it arrived about 20 minutes later, it would have been nice to have drink refills before that. The entree food was okay, the pretzel was not. It seemed stale/ hard and not like a hard pretzel kind of way. The dips were very tasty for it though. The black and blue burger is good. While we waited we watched at least 6 couples wander in trying to to take a reserved table. With a second host running them off. This happened because the lower floor hostess tells people they can go to the patio and bar but there is no indication that the reserved tables are actually reserved. They still have a few growing pains to get over but hopefully they will fix everything soon

Living out of state from this solid brewery, I can honestly state, without hometown bias....is a solid, well rounded, brewed for all...type of brewery. I've been to breweries who hop everything, and all styles. These people know how to craft different styles of beers without any overlap in flavors. Staff was amazing...excited about the beer, and sharing samples with you of what they think you'll like.....and totally NAILING IT. They pump you up on the brand and brews....SOLID.
