Black Tap

Came here twice. The first time was perfect, delicious and the cook on the burgers was spot on. Second visit the cook was way off and seasoning was was too salty so didn't finish our food. I will be back to try again because the first visit was great. So far I liked the Texan burger the best.

Located in downtown Disney, black tap always has a long line no matter what time off day you go. If you just want a shake, they have a take out window on the side.
I went on a Friday night, we waited about 15 min which wasn't bad. I had the pizza burger. The pizza burger is prime burger, marinara sauce, fried mozzarella, shaved parmesan. The marinara sauce comes in the side which is perfect for dipping. I like it, it had a lot of flavor. The fries are good, the beer selection is okay. Overall I liked it.

Loud, crowded and high energy. Food was good, but didn’t care for the experience. Wait in line to put in your name, then another line to order, then another line to wait for a table. I like to tip for good service- but here you have to tip up front, if you choose to. Spoiler- there really is no service. Once the food is delivered to your table, you are on your own. Need a fork, a refill, problem with your order - on you to figure it out - so not sure what we’re tipping for. Expect resort pricing - $16-19 for a burger. Personally I would not go back - would try my luck elsewhere.

Food

Appetizer fried pickles and fried mozz were delicious. I got the Mexico city burger. It was cooked to perfection. Burger patty was still juicy. All the food was bought to us pretty quickly and was still hot.

Service

This is not your sit down restaurant. The way it's set up is more like a cafeteria. Order food first then find a table and food will be brought to you.

I believe this place is known for the amazing big and beautiful milk shakes. Definitely will have to try that next time

Solid burger and shake place. The onion rings were delicate and delicious. The salad had a little too much lettuce, but was still good. The burger was good and the shake was creative and the star of the dinner. Not sure if I'd wait in a long line again to come back, but if the wait was decent, I would eat here again.
