Domo Sushi

Good food. Not the greatest ramen but its still good.

I sat at the sushi bar and we ordered straight through the sushi chef. We ordered a few Nigiri pieces: unagi, ebi, and bluefin tuna. On all of the Nigiri pieces the rice wasn't prepared right, it had a heavy vinegar tang that overpowered the fish and was pretty mushy, which would make the Nigiri fall apart when grabbed with chopsticks. I also think the rice wasn't cooled properly as the rolls came to us a bit warm.

We ordered the Domo roll and it was a bit bland but had good textures and good intentions. They forgot my cucumber roll, I asked them to add wasabi to the maki (as it was missing from the Nigiri) and he added so much it was unpleasant. He comped the cucumber maki, which was kind of him... But I don't think I'll return or add this to my list of favorite sushi restaurants anytime soon.

The good parts of Domo is the fresh fish and friendly service.

Fantastic staff and mega helpful. They are on hand to explain any item you are unsure of and will help guide you in the correct direction. Food is prepared in view from tables, meaning you feel more connected to what you enjoy
