I never write google reviews but here we go... I loveeeeee this restaurant. The food is immaculate and the owner is soooo sweet. I ordered doro wot firfir and tibs and it tastes amazing.

We got the doro wat and veggie combo to go. It was very good! Plenty of food for two people. The dishes were a little spicier than I'm used to for Ethiopian food, but no complaints here. I didn't think it was too spicy, but if you're sensitive you might disagree. The injera is 100% teff, which the owner was proud of--he should be! It was some of the tastiest injera I've had. Most places cut theirs with wheat, which doesn't taste as good to me. They gave us plenty of it, as well--we had enough for the meal.

I didn't see outdoor seating, but we came at the end of the day when they might have been winding down. In any case, they had space outside on a pretty wide sidewalk so I imagine they *can* have a couple tables out there. I noticed a few grocery type things like fresh whole spices; I'm hoping they start selling their berbere mix eventually.

The people running the place were very nice. Looks like a family--dad running the front, mom cooking in back, and I saw a younger woman as well. They mentioned they opened up just before the COVID lockdowns started happening--talk about bad timing! But I was happy to support their business and had a delicious dinner.
