Bred's Nashville Hot Chicken

The food is great no doubt however they really need to improve consistency. Sometimes when you order spicy it comes with literally no spicy and if you go for medium it’ll be like the hottest thing that they have. The spice level more times than not is not accurate.

Best hot chicken in orange county. The taste of chicken, the spice, the sauce are unbeatable. My only complain is inconsistent spice levels. A medium can be way too hot or too mild sometimes. Please fix this.

I first heard of Bred’s on ABC7 news and finally tried their food. I give Bred’s a nominal 4 stars for taste but 1 star for seating accommodation (no dine in) and the lack of info about what your going into - the small lobby of a ghost kitchen. You order through a touchscreen terminal in the lobby or remotely via the website from anywhere in the world and the food is ready in about 15 min when not too busy like during my visit. There are no verbal call outs in the lobby for your order when ready for pick up so you have to walk up to the window or check your text messages. There are something like 9 other different restaurants who cook there, I didn’t count. Yeah, I was disappointed by the non-existent dining seats/tables, and I had driven over hoping to find a delicious new twist to spicy Nashville chicken after having tried a great variety of spicy chicken over the years. After I got over the seating and no new twist, I find as far as the hot chicken tastes like any of the 4 stars throughout OC/LA.

Omg, I love the sauce soooooo much! I am a spicy lover! I love the spicy sauce. But be aware if you cannot handle it just order mild or medium. I live near by and I order almost everyday! Highly recommend!

I got the slider chicks, loaded fries, and Mac n cheese. One order of the sliders came with 2 buns and 3 tenders. It was delicious. I would have preferred the pickle inside the bun rather than on top, though. The loaded fries were certainly loaded. That box was heavy! Felt like it weighed at least 3 pounds or maybe I just don't have much arm strength, but there was definitely a lot of chicken on the fries. The Mac n cheese flavor was good and the texture of the cheese and the pasta was perfect. I would have preferred a little something extra in there to give it a pop of flavor like bits of a stronger cheese or maybe more seasoning in the bread crumb topping.
I like that they offer different ranges of spice levels and they say what chili is in it, so I know exactly what sort of heat I'm getting myself into. Overall it was delicious and was a great value. I will definitely be coming back again.
