Excellent chicken thighs, and excellent chicken legs. The breast was clearly from an old batch and was awful. I would have overlooked it, but it took, 57 minutes from when we placed the order to when we picked it up. We placed the order on premises, and sat in the car.....idling, for 57 minutes. That's flat out unacceptable. The lady kept saying it was coming out, after we started asking after about twenty five minutes.

We really wanted Pollo Campero after flying in to Santa Ana, and so we were super excited for it and it ruined the experience. We'll never go back, for fear we'll pay for a quarter tank of gas again!

Be prepared to wait. Our 12 piece family meal took 50 min from ordering at the kiosk to pickup.
I would not have waited 50 min for a take away order, and I wish there was a warning beforehand for how long the food will take to prepare. Additionally, from the kiosk it is unclear how to order grilled and fried chicken - we were disappointed that our mixed order was only fried chicken after an almost hour wait.
The digital platform is nice in theory, but in execution there are still many issues to work out.
