The best hands down ... Stop reading and go... Sometimes takes long... Worth wait
HOLY SMOKES (LITERALLY)! This was a new spot (right here in Orange County surprisingly) that was recommended by a good friend. The insane quality and flavor of the tacos really had us SHOOK! They smoke the meat over wood here giving the tacos an incredible flavor that's really impossible to match when cooked any other way. There were different qualities of meat (like RIBEYE) to choose from which was cool and unique. Also, they have like a "buffet" of different salsas to pick from including guacamole and habañero (which is basically STRAIGHT LAVA you can eat). The tacos aren't as cheap as you might find on the corners of LA, but honestly we've paid way more for average tacos. Here they PACK the tacos with meat and the quality/flavor is MORE than worth the price! Thank you @tacosloscholos we'll be back soon!
If you want the best Mexican food. Check out Tacos Los Cholos. You won't regret it! They have low carb/ keto options as well as high end meats like filet mignon and rib eye. Great salsas and the options for fresh aguas Is always varied.
Amazing tacos!!! With so many taco locations to choose from, Los Cholos definitely has a way of standing out. Their selection and quality have been unmatched so far. They offer classic/traditional meats along with their premium and prime carnes. The standout for me was their tacos de costilla de res (beef ribs), absolutely delicious. Their selection of salsas is just as impressive as their selection of meats. If you need containers to take your salsa home, just ask one of the staff members. Pricing is slightly higher than your traditional taco stand, but they're definitely worth it. Give yourself time as they typically have a wait. Keep in mind some of their meats are subject to sell out. Overall, a must try!
P.S. I would follow them on Instagram! They'll keep you posted with their nightly hours or let you know if they're closed for the night because of the weather.
