The Straw: Modern Milkshakes

Really enjoyed this place! Brought my folks and was very happy. The tiramisu shake is super tasty. Grilled cheese was excellent and a great bargain at the happy hour. Tomato soup was baller. Had a little kick which I enjoyed, was a bit spicy for my mum. Will come back.

Honestly a pretty amazing place if you're looking for a unique experience in the world of milk shakes. The waiter guy (Sorry forgot your name) was very knowledgeable and the had some games to play with if your with friends or a group. I would totalling go back.

Great customer service. Not too pushy, offered suggestions. The shakes are fun to look at as well as fun to taste. Definitely coming back. Plus they serve beer here

I get the appeal of this restaurant, I just don't think there value is there for me. The milkshakes are admittedly delicious and the drunken milkshakes are creatively paired with soju, which I have not seen before. Their selection of grilled cheese is robust but I cannot say that they were so good I'm clamoring to come back. I am withholding am outright recommendation because I thought that everything was just a bit too expensive for what is ostensibly just milkshake and grilled cheese. In the end I felt I could have had just as much enjoyment out of a simple vanilla milkshake and plain grilled cheese than the frivolities that The Straw offers. I commend them for doing something different but I will probably skip it

On the left you have "The Street" and on the right "Donkey Kong". We preferred The Street but both were really good. We paired it off with the " Barbie" which is a pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich. It didn't last long enough to take a pic of it but it won't disappoint. This can be a great place for a date or even with the kids. They also have board games to pass the time or allow food to settle. Very cool place. Definitely going back
