Wafu of Japan Sushi

This is one of our favorite little sushi places. My wife and I come for lunch on special occasions. Parking is tight for the shopping center so arrive before noon or after 1:00. The samurai burrito and dragon balls are a must try.

Seems very authentic to me, they have a variety of dishes besides sushi, pretty much everything i would want. Food is very good and the pricing fair. Ive been multiple times and will go back again!

Continually and consistently the best sushi place - flavor and service. (I'm not local, but have been traveling to the OC for over a decade.) Also, "Dragon Balls." You can thank me after you thank Wafu. ????

My husband and I have ordered take out a few times and it has been decent - teriyaki and sesame chicken combos. But we haven't tried any real sushi to do this review justice. We will definitely try to eat in soon. It looks very cozy and inviting.

Update: dined in and tried a lot of fresh fish options. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Loved the tuna guacamole appetizer! The carpaccio was tasty but just had a little too much sauce. Would definitely recommend for a nice dinner!

Unexpected great sushi next to a freeway and my hotel.

Saw this restaurant from across the street from my hotel and since I currently have a 1 year old at home, decided to indulge my sushi craving. I wasn't expecting much.

Ordered the 3 roll plate (I forget the name) and I am really glad I did. All 3 rolls were darn tasty, and generous. Service was prompt, and the restaurant had good atmosphere.
