Awesome place, the bar is always full. Bartenders is overwhelmed with the number of people. But overall good music.
Great food and great prices. I ordered the #3 dinner plate, it comes with your choice of meat, egg flower soup, four wontons, two fried shrimp, one egg roll and white rice. The waiter automatically brings hot tea and water...all this for $12.00. I always walk away feeling so stuffed.
It's a fun family spot and unique in how you pick your food ingredients that they cook right there for you. Over the years, prices have risen some and portions have fallen.
This place is a nice alternative to the tons of cookie-cutter franchises that are ubiquitous in the area. Here, you stuff your bowl with veggies on top of the frozen meat provided to you. The result turns out much better than it sounds.
I do enjoy the Asian sides that can be ordered with the main meat bowl. The restaurant interior design appears to remain the same over the years. It's plain and simple, reflecting the menu selection.
One of the oldest and best local places to eat. They treat you like family when you go there. I have known the owner many years. Go there for lunch and go there for dinner can't go wrong. Went there with my family when I was a young boy and now I take my little rascal there with my wife. Place is awesome.
