I was very pleased when I visited this spot. The food is very good and seems to be high quality. I ordered almost every protein on the menu and everything was great. I believe they smoke their meat and it was delicious. The unagi especially was very good, melt in your mouth, probably the best unagi I have ever had. The service was great, and they had a very good hazy ipa on tap. The atmosphere was very cool, very modern. If you like japanese takoyaki this place is a must. Great place to take a date!

Unique menu with a fusion of oriental and various meats and vegetables on small skewers. Very tasty, not so expensive and excellent service. Don't let the strip mall location put you off, well worth a try!

A gem in Costa Mesa and surely to make our top 10 list of places to go when we want good, clean, and freshly prepared food. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and reminds me of our time in Japan. If you're looking for well prepared meats and seafood and a fun array of bacon wrapped veggies be sure to check out this restaurant. And don't forget to try a carefully crafted cocktail that will not let you down.

Cute little yakitori place in an unassuming strip mall! Waitress was very helpful and friendly. The dumplings were tasty and my favorite skewers were chicken thigh, eel, mushrooms and chicken skin. If you go during happy hour it's 20% off food which is great! Will definitely be back to try more things like the soup appetizers!

Always VERY HIGH quality food! The bento box is a steal. We've tried basically everything and nothing is even close to not satisfying. Belly is always happy and full when we leave. Should definitely come!
