Kabob Republic

Very good chicken and rice plates. I am a huge fan of Persian food and I am always looking for good spots to go to. I recommend this place because it’s in an easy location to get to and it’s close to the beach.

It’s right across the street from the triangle. You might need to park in the back area as some of the parking off Newport street can be tough.

I’m from Boston and wish we had a restaurant like Kabob Republic. The place is spotless, very kind friendly staff. Outstanding food. Prepared fresh, excellent flavor, unique options. True treasure!

I was searching for a place to eat old school style by driving around and the front of this establishment caught my eye. I decided I wanted to eat light tonight and ordered a Tabouli salad and lentil soup. Both excellent and tasty.
I will say that perhaps I should have added chicken to the salad, but I will be back to try some protein dishes.
The ambiance and layout of the place is inviting and serene and the food presentation is on point.
The menu is varied and prices range from about $9 to $20 for a meal.
Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Went here for lunch with co-workers. The lamb gyro was divine! I got the dual meat plate with two sides . Absolutely amazing!!!!!!! The french fries was also great! Flavorful and full of spice.
Such a pleasant surprise.. With lots of character inside and friendly service. Great for lunch or catering.. Would definitely go back

The spicy hummus and rice were amazing and were huge portions. I would have been happy with half that amount. Think I’ll try their lamb chops next time.
All the staff was very friendly and service was fast.
Interior of the restaurant is wonderfully decorated. Very nice small details, you can tell they put a lot of thought into it.
Finding parking might be a bit of a hassle since it shares its location with some other busy businesses. Not sure if there is more parking nearby because I got the last parking spot.
