Palenque Kitchen Costa Mesa

This is a place is a spot I've been eyeing for a bit and we were super excited to try it. The interior is very chic and love the decor. We were able to get seated right away on a Friday night, so we got super lucky.

While the food was good, the service was really bad. Not sure if it was because our server got over seated or if he wasn't seasoned enough to handle a busy night, I hope it was just an off day. He forgot a bunch of things we asked for like a different salsa and hot sauces. I also ordered another drink, but because we were a bit turned off with the service and almost done with the food I didn't make a big deal about it and chose to forgo it.

Hoping to give this spot another shot as I really liked what we had to eat... Maybe it will be a better experience the next time around.

Was very impressed by my experience. The food the service everything was good, for a new establishment, we can't wait to comeback and be part of the experience of watching this restaurant succeed.

Everything about this place was amazing! The decor, atmosphere, food, drinks, and staff...all awesome. Edwin the GM was very welcoming. I love that from a business.. connecting with the customers one on one goes a long way. Looking forward to my next visit for the late night vibes.
