As a juror in a five-day trial at the Harbor Justice Center (on Jamboree at Campus in Newport Beach), I decided to eat lunch at five nearby cafes/fast food joints that were within walking distance (half-mile) from the Justice Center. As a rule, I avoid fast food joints and chain-owned cafes, except in an emergency. My criterion for judging these low-end categories is “the best quality for the least price.” In other words is it “tasty” and inexpensive. I ordered the teriyaki burger ($4.39). The bun, meat, pineapple, lettuce, and tomato were above average. Carl’s Jr. provides ample parking, even when crowded, quick service delivered to your table and a clean environment. Posters in the windows announce the current promotional items—sometimes interesting.

Tried the Beyond Burger and liked it (except for the onions--would ask for them to be left off next time). Friendly staff and clean surroundings .

I like the new and refreshed look. Loving the Beyond Meat burger. Thank you for having options for non meat eaters.
