Legit crust and has the best crunch when you bite into the slice. Their customer service was over the top. Thanks!

If you're looking for quality pie this is the place to go. Everything from the environment to the first and last bites of each slice radiates positivity. The owner hand delivers each pizza and comes back around to get your honest opinion. He is constantly working to perfect his craft and it shows in each pizza they bring out. The crust is light a crispy and the ingredients are fresh and delicious, making every bite better than the last. I highly recommend the arugula and prosciutto pizza. The arugula's so fresh it takes me to the safety Mother Nature's womb, with prosciutto so good I feel like I'm dancing drunk with Salvador Dali a glass of Sangria away from bliss, only for the pesto to guide me to the pearly gates of pizza heaven. What can I say, I'm a genuine fan of the food and the people making it happen inside. Each pie is truly a work of art.

Wow. Kuro was the highlight of my day. My sister and I had been shopping at the lab and realized we were starving when we saw someone’s pizza and immediately started salivating. When we got to Kuro, we realized they had just closed and were so sad! But the owner saw us outside and told us to come in anyway and that he’d make us whatever we wanted on the menu AND he’d bring it over the to the bar next door for us. The pizza was perfect. Flavors were delicious, crust was soft and perfectly chewy. I really liked that the crust had whole wheat flour in it. Later on the owner came back to check and see what we thought of it. He has so much love for what he does and it’s obvious that he wants to make good food to spread happiness. Please go check this place out. You’ll be getting a delicious meal and you’ll be supporting a superb human :)

It’s a great new place. Perfect for the lab. Wish I could give 4.5 stars. Good, I would say, “Japanese Italian” style pizza. Traditional Italian flavor with Japanese design. It’s light pizza, ideal to split with a friend for a quick bite. Price was about $15-$20 for a pie, which is good, but I could easily crush one by myself and still have room for more. I got the margherita and the nacho pizza (with small slices of jalapeño, sausage, and a little honey).

The service was terrific. They gave me plenty of advice on what to order and were eager to customize the amount of toppings to my liking. The gentleman at the front desk even ran my pizzas over to bootleggers, where I went to grab a beer while waiting. What a guy!

(Oh there’s no indoor seating. It’s all to-go. But like I said, it’s perfect for the set up there in the lab)

At this time it’s still the soft opening so hours are limited, but find a time that fits for you, and go check it out! Support an exciting, new, local spot.
