Jimmy's Famous American Tavern

I always make a point to stop by Jimmy's when I'm visiting family in Dana Point. The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly! I absolutely love this place! I learned recently there's another one near home that I'm excited to check out.

Sunday brunch was really good. Big portions on all of our meals - loved the brussel sprouts appetizer (more than enough for our table of 8!) and the service was decent. I recommend this place - oh and the parking is free -always a bonus.

Great cocktails. Great food. Service is always super nice! I love the vibe and atmosphere of this place. You have to get the homemade potato chips with the blue cheese dressing!! Also grab the skinny margarita on the happy hour menu.

We had a great time here! The food was all fresh and delicious, our waitress (Chelsey?) was quick, accurate with our orders, and very sweet. We visited at a good time on Sunday, only a 15min wait.
The kids ate their sliders and fries like there was no tomorrow. Each person loved what they ordered, and it was all made very well.
Jimmys is in a really good spot, close to what watching tours, beaches, the ocean institute, lots of boats...
I would eat here again.

Good, classic, American food. Beautiful views, though it can get a bit sunny (bright and warm) near the windows. The service was good, pretty quick and very helpful. The Hangover Burger was pretty delicious, it had a very large meat patty on a buttermilk biscuit bun. They also apparently offer bottomless champagne with a carafe of oj on the side. Enjoyed my time there and would come again.
