Love the vibe and the new design of the place. The good-hearted, if sometimes sloppy wait staff is always around. They also have a really large, comfortable covered patio area that we found the perfect place to eat. Since it's so close to the beach and harbor, expect a WIDE variety of dress. I saw a bunch of guys with suit jackets on seated next to a family straight from the beach with trunks and flip-flops. JFYI.

The main reason for the low rating was simply for the value offered. 3 out of 4 of us at the table thought the place was way overpriced. You can see the picture of my "roast chicken" entree. I think that was $27. I expected a bit more bird for that price, but instead got a tiny half breast and accompanying tiny leg. I came in hungry and left unsatisfied.

Glasspar, Dana Point will not disappoint! Our first night OUT with this covid mess going on and this was our First choice! First of all I am comprised and felt very safe first at the bar and from there we went outside to the patio! The restaurant is Beautiful and has a good location for parking and walking by the beach! From the moment we came in, to very late for our reservation because of Uber drivers being very limited we were still greeted with smiles and everyone was wearing masks and happy to be working again. We first sat on the end of the bar and took in the interior! My husband kept commenting what a beautiful restaurant!!! Bartenders were fun and Shannon’s purple gin drink is a must!!! We came for oysters and Glasspar has debunked the myth as far as no good oysters unless there is an R in the month! The oysters last night were large and buttery delicious and had the perfect sauces to dip! Also had and recommend the octopus!!! We will be back and thanks for a lovely evening!!!

Went today to their take out fish market. Bought the Iceland cod. It was so delicious and fresh. The best fish I’ve had in a long time.

We had the best experience here. Wasn’t sure of what to make of this new Restaurant with a strange name and an oyster bar . So we decided to give it a try. By far the best service, atmosphere and food.

I loved how you could build a seafood appetizer . So we did two claws, two oysters and two shrimps. The waitress gave us a few really good suggestions. Very fresh and absolutely fantastic taste.

We had drinks , nautical names , great flavor. Really tasty , I thought the alcohol in them were perfect . My boyfriend said they were a bit strong. We bought agreed they tasted really good.

Superb food, all the sauces were wonderfully balanced, excellent dish presentations. The Shrimp Pappardelle had a lovely lemon butter sauce with micro greens and Scampi over home made pasta, yummy!! Too busy enjoying the food to take photos.
