“Love the vibe and the new design of the place. The good-hearted, if sometimes sloppy wait staff is always around. They also have a really large, comfortable covered patio area that we found the perfect place to eat. Since it's so close to the beach and harbor, expect a WIDE variety of dress. I saw a bunch of guys with suit jackets on seated next to a family straight from the beach with trunks and flip-flops. JFYI. The main reason for the low rating was simply for the value offered. 3 out of 4 of us at the table thought the place was way overpriced. You can see the picture of my "roast chicken" entree. I think that was $27. I expected a bit more bird for that price, but instead got a tiny half breast and accompanying tiny leg. I came in hungry and left unsatisfied.”

“Ordered the green curry chicken and chicken in peanut sauce. Started with fried spring rolls and tea. Loved the food; service was superb and we will definitely be back! March 4th, 2020 - Had another great meal! Ordered the spicy pork with green beans and my dinner companion had the chicken in peanut sauce with thin rice noodles. Had the spring rolls again too; they are super yummy! The service was again fabulous and it is becoming a regular spot for us...this was our third visit and each time it is delicious. Also, they have won many Wine Spectator awards so if you like wine this is a great spot.”

“Love this place. Great yet small menu. Amazing toasted sprouts with pork belly and chili spice. Also probably the best burger I've ever had - I mean incredibly good. Last but not least is the cracking beer lineup. Constantly changing, fresh and great brewery choices. 5 stars by any measure. Interestingly, I haven't actually been inside due to COVID-19 but have ordered through Toast multiple times. Looking forward to getting there someday soon! Highly recommended.”

“2nd Friday in a row we went for a late breakfast. I love this little place! The food is fresh and made well. I had the Corned Beef Hash with Eggs, again. I'd come here just for toast! There was a slight mishap with my egg order and they bent over backwards to make it right. Really nice wait staff, healthy pours on their adult beverage choices, and great service. It's one of those places where you feel like it's where the regulars hang out and everyone feels welcome! We'll be back!”

“The decor and atmosphere is enjoyable and french for sure. Service is a little on the slow side, but the food is tasty. The escargot appetizer was different and flavorful, although I enjoy a more traditional version (garlic butter & bread). There are several larger restaurants in the area, so it's nice to have a smaller and more intimate version. On a side note, not sure the sunset view as a decoration on the wall - not sure it worked for me - but, also makes the place "different".”

“Great simple fish eatery. I really enjoy the fresh fish here at Jon's. Its usually priced reasonably for fresh fish and prepared with simple sides. Careful with small fish bones occasionally as they also indicate. Seating available outdoors and in but can get a little cold during the winter months and food can get cold quickly. Recent change they now serve beer and wine which is nice addition.”

“This is our favorite mexican restaurant in South Orange County. The food is reasonably good and the atmosphere is loads of fun, especially for the family. Lots of Day of the Dead and other decorations all over, including hundreds of the owner's photos of mostly GOP government office holders, including President Nixon, who lived nearby in San Clemente's Western White House in the 1970's. It is across the beach from Coast Highway and about a mile south of Dana Harbor. Highly recommended.”
