Ordered the #2 it's short ribs, 2scoops of rice & a green salad have enough for 2 dinners I recommend this place if you like Hawaiian food

Always loved uncle Mel's place on Lincoln in Anaheim, this location is bigger!

Love this place. Friendly staffs, good food, reasonable price and generous portions. I wish they have more variety in condiments such as hot peppers, gingers, pickles or jalapenos to make the dish more flavorful at your own choice. My favorite dish is Kalbi. Beef and chicken were a bit dry. Chicken had a bit of fishy aftertaste. Maybe needs more teriyaki sauce on top.

I had the BBQ beef plate, the meat was amazing! Most meals don't come with vegetables at all though so order them if you want them. We went on a crazy busy night and the wait was in line with that. But the meat was so good we are for sure coming back.

Good meat, beef ribs are great, kalua pork was not enough meat more like kalua cabbage... Overall the marinade of the grilled meats is delicious and unique. Mac salad is good, more like a mac and potato salad. Big disappointment is the rice... It's mushy and crunchy in parts, like it wasn't cooked right. I'll give it another try, but the side salad is a good alternative. The grilled meat is that good to overcome these negatives in my personal opinion. Service is great, super friendly and you can ask for Disney Junior on the TV for the kiddos.
