Chicken sandwiches are really good. My son really love the Mac and cheese. A little pricey but overall pretty good
Minus 1 star for service. Service wasn’t great. The guy who helped us was kind of weird/rude. I also asked him about the ranch he forgot to give me he was like “oh but I didn’t charge you….” And was reluctant to give it to me. It’s just ranch. Minus 1 star for food quality. The coleslaw was probably the worst I’ve ever had and the buns were stale and dry. I’ve eaten at quite a few of Nashville style places including Hattie B’s in Nashville. Which is the golden Star for me. I’m not sure if I’d get food from this establishment next time. I’ll probably try everything else first. In the photo is a pic of the slaw. One bite and that’s it.
The spicy chicken sandwich is delicious, juicy and packs a punch. My biggest concern.is the chicken would be dry, that is not a problem here. I love the spicy flavor because it will definitely warm you up for the cool winter evening but won't leave you sweating and running around breathing fire. The spicy aioli goes well with the crinkle cut fries, best style of fry IMO. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu!
It feels like every time I come to Steel Craft, a vender has either closed, leaving vacant stalls behind or someone new takes over.
That’s what happen to this stall. I remember ordering Hainan Chicken dish but now it’s a new vender. Bird Talk opened this past March. It’s their second location with their first in Palos Verdes.
They take their time to making everything fresh so expect a good 15-30 mins. You get a buzzer.
We got the 10 piece chicken nugget combo ($9.95). Comes with a side and sauce. Unfortunately it only comes with original flavor and can’t be changed. I was picturing McNugget but it was more like large chicken popcorn. Very filling for 10 piece.
We got Nashville Sliders ($14), comes with 2 sliders, side, and sauce. I was imagining Hawaiian bread size for the sliders. Nope, it’s slightly smaller than a full size. Like a junior whooper size! Huge! You’re able to pick spice level: mild, spicy or super spicy. I got spicy. It wasn’t spicy.
We also got 3 tenders combo ($12), comes with side and sauce. You can pick the flavors, we got 2 Nashville and 1 plain.
Each of our combo came with a side. There are 8 sides to choose from. We got loaded tots (topped with cheese, bacon, green onions), loaded crinkle cut fries (sprinkled Cajun spice), and Mac and cheese. I’m not a Mac and cheese person but this was not bad because it wasn’t so cheesy. The tots were crispy. Everything taste delicious.
There’s 6 sauces and you get to pick one for each combo. We went with 2 Come back (creamy Buffalo) and 1 Bird dip( Cajun thousand island.
Overall, the chicken was fresh, extra crunchy, moist, and flavorful. It was worth the wait.
Got *The spicy chicken sandwich which had nice heat, along with pickles and slaw dressing to counter it. Loaded fries came with nacho cheese, crisp bacon bits, and fresh green onion.
The space is a shared plaza so plenty of seating.
