Stopped in at Ruby's Diner at Huntington Beach's Pier for an early lunch. Had their Classic Cheeseburger and it was pretty darn good. The views made the visit even better. Can watch the surfers, or people fishing off the pier, or just enjoy the views of the ocean. I would recommend visiting Ruby's Diner located at the Pier at Huntington Beach.

Get ready to wait a while (at least, we had to when we went on a summer weekend ). But if you love the ocean, the wait is no bother. Burger was good-sized, with a generous helping of fries. Also ordered a shake, but I recommend sharing. It was a little too sweet and too much. Waitresses were very friendly (and, dare I say it, cute ;) Hoping to come back again when I'm in the area.

Very fun atmosphere and the Ruby Burger was great! It was so great that we went back another time and I ordered the fish and chips. They were way over fried and very hard on the outside. The staff wasn’t very professional when I requested a replacement. Overall this is one of our favorite places to eat when we visit California!

Location, location, location. What a great day to walk to the end of the pier. The rain had passed so I decided to take my adult daughter for a valentines lunch. There is parking just south of Dukes Restaurant during the winter for free. During the summer months it's pay and usually nothing is available. This decor is just like every other Rubys (50's throwback) and the menu is the same as well. I had the guacamole burger with a side salad and my daughter had chicken strip with fries. The food was served hot within about 10 minutes. Tasted good and the ingredients were fresh. My daughter had a chocolate shake that was excellent. Nice portions, great service and a clean environment make for a good value.
