“Oddly my favorite morning meal is also the easiest meal to prepare. And their oatmeal is on par with how my mother would prepared it. Fluffy and rich in oatmeal flavor and smell. In fact their best oatmeal in a restaurant that we have found in HB area. Their customer service has been very cordial and extremely friendly, and they really keep the table clean and orderly.”

Talked to a "manager" Supposedly said he tried to call and say they were really busy but was told I included the wrong phone number, which is incorrect because the delivery guy just called and said he was lost!?!?!? Its literally right across the street and everyone has google maps. The Pizza once it did arrive was great - I understand things get busy.”

“We visited the restaurant this past Saturday, February 2 around 5 pm. The restaurant was very busy because we were there at dinnertime on a rainy Saturday night, but it didn't feel busy because our server, Victor, and the service we received was so awesome! The food came quickly and our drinks were refilled the second they started to get low. The food was delicious! We never had to wait more than a minute or two for anything despite the crowd. It was a wonderful experience!”

“The food was good. The portions were great. I actually had the lemon capers fish and it was a very healthy portion. My sister had the soup and she really enjoyed it. I had to take half home. “I don't really understand the low ratings for this place. They have a huge menu, the food is incredibly consistent and good. If you like a thick crust pizza you will not be disappointed. It is not traditional chicago-style pizza but it's very close. The in-house beers are delicious and they have a full cocktail bar along with other local brews as well as some national ones. It's a great place to come and watch a game, there's TVs everywhere. It's clean, it's well laid out and the wait staff is very efficient and friendly.”

“Friendly family owned sandwich shop I ran across by accident while waiting in the center. It is definitely a hidden gem in HB. I had the chicken breast sandwich and really enjoyed it. “This a fairly new location. Really nice inside. Food was good. Only thing lacking is customer service. There was a couple times that I stood at the front counter for a few minutes, waiting to be helped. All the while the young girl making the pizzas sees me and doesn't say anything. Nor does she try to get someone to help me. Oh and there was a larger party on the patio. They had the patio door open, letting all the AC out. After it started getting warm inside, I finally asked one of the workers if they could close the door.”

“Always a good meal, I've never been disappointed with the food or the service. If you're from the East Coast, you'll probably appreciate the fact they have Tasty Cakes Brand snacks, etc and some not-so-easy-to-find sodas, etc. Although you come for the Philly Cheese Steak, I often find myself getting "The Godfather", a meatball and sausage sandwich. 1/2 is plenty, but I always seem to get the whole one (and usually eat it all! :-)). The only thing about John's that disappointed me, was that they closed the location in Anaheim (which was just a few blocks from my house), so now I have to drive to HB to enjoy this East Coast Goodness, but I guess it makes it that much more special, and is an indication of how much I really enjoy their food!”

“This is a good clean place but the fries are not worth it. Literally a medium fry did not fill the container it comes in. I asked the cashier if this is s medium fry showing her what was give. To me & she said yes. 2.50 on a medium fry was not worth it. I don’t mind paying, I do mind not getting what I pay for. Del Taco on Springdale & Warner, don’t get cheap on the food people pay for.”
