“We’re SO happy Pho May opened up in Sunset Beach!! We’ve needed a Pho restaurant in the neighborhood, and this is a great addition. The food was delicious, portions were very good, and the service was delightful (free refills on ice green tea and one free refill on Thai iced tea)! Atmosphere is lovely—it’s right in Peter’s Landing, so you look right out to the harbor. Pictures include a vegetarian pho with Tofu and a chicken pho. Go here ASAP!”

“The food is good. Our server sucked. I wish the newly employed female that was working had our table. The male who served us was very bad at his job. He was impatient and had a condescending tone every time we had a question. When he went to get answers for our questions. He laughed loud and made fun of us. No beer menu. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. They had no meatballs. But they charged me for them. And did not offer a substitute. He said if I didn't like it. Don't order it. I am grateful for those instructions. Didn't know I had that option. The toppings on the pizza aren't included in the price of the pizza. The comedy show was good. I'd go back for that. Paulie's in Upland is much better. The staff is super friendly. And the food is a little more delicious.”

“My wife and I came here with our dogs after a beach day at the Huntington Beach Dog Beach. All the food was great, especially the Cajun Chicken Eggrolls! They're super dog friendly, and the owner was very attentive and checked with us about everything throughout the meal. Service was great across the board. Well definitely be back again”

“Sara did an amazing job tattooing my eyeliner. She was very careful to make sure she kept it natural looking and safe for my eyes. I've received so many compliments and I love how my eyes look. It has really restored my confidence as I lost so many of my lashes due to chemo this makes them come alive again! Thank u Sara! Love how her salon employs and helps women grow and thrive their business highly recommended anyone check them out!”

“Chicken on Rice is a new spot offering a quick and convenient lunch option in a plain-yet-functional ambiance. They use self-ordering kiosks, so be prepared for a cashless and tech-forward experience. The minimalist design keeps things streamlined, and their Hainan chicken is definitely worth a try! The food comes out in a box via a cooler system, which is unique but works well. I'll be back to explore their menu further.”

“Sandwiches here are very good but virtually unknown... Combined with discount coupons, a nice ham and cheese on marble rye runs about 5-6 dollars. They get so busy here from around October, they shut down sandwich sales completely to concentrate on turkeys, hams, and other holiday spreads... The rest of the year, this is a very underrated sandwich shop!”

“It’s a small family owned restaurant. It’s not spacious & not a good idea for a night out or a date. About the food, I did not expect much about the food but it came out very good & delicious. My bf never has vegetarian food before but he likes Vietnamese banh mi. He exclaimed & rated this banh mi would be his runner up of his favorite banh mi list. About the vegan kabob, OMG, it was tender, juicy & flavorful. We both enjoy the meal. It was really good.”

“Masala Waves is a gem for anyone seeking a fusion of Indian and Nepali cuisine. The extensive menu offers generous portions with just the right amount of spice. The restaurant offers a clean, welcoming atmosphere and prompt service. Don't miss their delicious mango lassi! A must-visit for a memorable dining experience.”

“Update: we’ve been here 3 times now as it’s become a favorite spot. Brought my girlfriend group and ordered the burrito wet….. holy cow it’s enormous and delicious. Seriously can’t go wrong with anything you order!! We’ve been wanting to try this place but there’s always a huge wait time. We were up early today and arrived at 7:30am. No line and we had the place almost to ourselves! I started with their specialty coffee. She started to described it and said cinnamon and that was as far as she needed. It was over the top amazing. Breakfast was chilaquiles with added carne asada. I had mine with scrambled eggs, hubby got over easy. The red chile is the best we’ve tasted. Made from scratch, this stuff is authentic. Real red chile, not enchilada sauce or ranchero sauce. If you know, you know. Service was superior, small inside dining hold about 75 people. They have cocktails that I will definitely try later. Open until 3:30pm. They have a few items that aren’t listed on the menu like enchiladas and flautas. Almost don’t want to share because it’s sooooooo good! See ya there!”

“This is a great coffee shop to say the least. They are very good at making lattes. The vanilla bean latte did not disappoint. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was my first time there and I asked what to get and they were nice and helpful. The atmosphere is good with a great location downtown Huntington Beach. I met a friend up for coffee here and it was a pleasurable experience.”

“A nice simple menu to choose from with several protein variations. Layout in store is tight but was easy enough to get in and find a seat. Food was served quickly and staff is friendly and attentive. Salsa bar had a good selection to pick from and setup from mild to hot. Ordered a torta and it was a delicious combination of steak and chorizo. Worth the stop for some tasty food.”

“My new favorite place! So healthy and right sized portions. This was my first visit. Easily navigated the kiosk and liked how I could customize. Food came out super quick. I had the roasted sweet potatoes and the chicken bowl with the green goddess dressing. So delicious! I will be telling my family & friends.”

“We came here for dinner on opening day. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The cocktails were amazing! We loved the 4 different ones we shared. Steaks & salad with chicken were great. The garlic fries were delicious! The cobler for desert was amazing. We had a little mix up with our food, but it was handled really well and they let us keep the wrong plate to snack on, so no complaints there. It was their first night so I expect there will be a little bit of a learning curve, especially the first weekend. Really cute vibe for date night or friends brunch, obviously the location is great right on PCH with views of the beach & sunset. The "outside" section is pretty covered/ protected from the wind/weather and there were a bunch of heaters out there. Will definitely be back!”

“The food was really good - memorable. The problem were the service was OK and the portions were quite small. The lobster roll was great, but it was teeny for $25. That was not as big a deal as the mushroom roll, which was also tasty, but there was hardly any mushrooms. I know mushrooms are much cheaper than lobster, so I don’t know what’s up there. It was $1 more to add fries instead of chips, which was strange. The view is amazing and almost worth whatever you pay in food. I really liked the 80s/90s theme! Not kid friendly but they can be there. This place should be about a 4.3.”

“Highly recommend this spot for authentic Detroit style pizza! Tasted just like the best places when I visit relatives in Michigan! The quality of the sauce, cheese, dough and crispy crust is incredible! Jeff the owner was very friendly and looking forward to bringing some family members there for some return visits!”

““The Grass is Always Greener on Our Side” - 100% AGREE!!! This spot is absolutely worth the wait, the long lines quickly go away when you’re sinking your entire mouth and devouring an Amazonia Bowl! This place uses the freshest fruits for their smoothies and bowls that I’ve ever been too in Huntington Beach. I love the concept and mission of this place - delivering incredibly healthy food on the go. 🙏🙏😋🤤. Devouringly Delicious and Worth every penny!”

“Food was great! Service was rock solid. We had a group of 10. The weather was great! Our first time here. Hanger steak and fries, spicy little gems, literally everything we ate was good. The mushroom pasta was the only dish that was just average. The view from the patio was awesome! We will be back.”

“This place has the best food and service in HB. Opened late last year and wow. Amazing ambiance, food is exceptional and mixologist are amazing. See Manuel (flair) bartender. “When your all-time FAVORITE Korean fried chicken spot opens a new location, you RUN before the hype gets there! Huntington Beach, you're so lucky to have a Chan Chan in ya. You know I had to order all my favorites to test the consistency with their OG location in Irvine and ya'll, still slaps. The Chan Chan gimbap which is always so pretty, kimchi Spam fried rice, and the Chan Chan tenders that are literally HUGE! Basted in that sweet soy sauce, ugh chef's kiss. Also tried something new today with the cream pasta and it did not disappoint. Everything reminds me of...that creamy white sauce Thanks for reading! ^-^”

“We were immediately greeted with a friendly smile. The food came out fast and was DELICIOUS! We got the panang curry and drunken noodles and we are quite picky on these dishes and both exceeded our expectations! Max the chef came and introduced himself which was such a nice touch! Later he did a few magic tricks for us at the table and we were so thrilled. A great experience. We will be back!”
