Very delicious and high quality Japanese food. I got one of the platters (I think it's called a combination on the menu?) and it was MASSIVE. I have a generally large hand and I have it shown in the picture compared to my plate. Despite the quantity, the quality is very good, every piece of meat/tempura/vegetable was well made and delicious. Was a bit on the pricier side but I don't mind considering the quality and quantity of food. Will definitely come back again.
I'm definitely not a sushi person, but this is the only place that I come to for it if that means anything. The people I go with took me here because this was their favorite sushi on the west coast. It was really tasty and they had the rolls out quick. Definitely will keep going here.
I really enjoyed this Taiko. The food was great with good portions. The miso soup is great and the sushi was fresh. A good selection of Sake and the wait staff was nice. I highly recommend the Tuna Steak.
We went to the restaurant on Monday, 5pm. There were no wait list. We chose the bar and asked for recommendations. 1: Blue fin tuna was great. 2: sea urchin was stunning. 3: tempura was much above average and really filling. 4: there's nothing more soft than scallop.5: mackerel was too salty and dry so not recommended. The price... you need to pay tips twice, once to the shop and once to the chief directly which makes it quite expensive. Service can be much better if you speak Japanese but good even if you don't. Money is tasety~
In terms of value the best sushi I’ve had. You have to try. The thickness of the sushi is truly amazing. And the freshness. I recommend going to sushi bar and asking the chef to make his fav for you. It’s worth the Waite. The line is long at any time which proves how good it is
