I don't really understand the hype of this breakfast restaurant. The line is super long, but moves fairly quickly. It's nice that they have outdoor seating since the restaurant itself fills up really quickly. Just make sure the food runners can see your number card if you're outside without a condiment holder.
I got the breakfast burrito with link sausage and my friend got the Portuguese sausage with eggs. The sausage was great, although it only came with four little slices (what more do you need, though?). The breakfast burrito was good, but I thought it needed some more sauce on the side or inside the burrito. Way too dry for my taste. We also got a fish taco, which was actually really good (probably my favorite thing we got here). Of course, we ended up getting the banana macadamia nut pancakes, which were really delicious. The pancakes are really good here (I've been a few times now), and I must say the banana Mac is probably the best one. The omelets are subpar and could be improved with better sides.
Overall, the service is nothing out of the ordinary, just a really humble business working it's reigns in the breakfast competition here in Irvine.
Banana macadamia pancakes were great. They were made with fresh bananas and lots of macadamia nuts. It was a cold morning so we sat inside. However, the air conditioning was on and we froze inside too. When we left it was warmer outside than inside.
Lines can get pretty long. Took us about 30 min to get seated and get our food. I like their pancakes the best. They are very light and fluffy. I tried their veggie omelette, it was OK. French toast is pretty good as well, they have about 10 different types. My daughter loves their hot chocolate. Definitely worth checking out of you are in the area.
