    Corner Bakery is a sandwich and bakery shop. I usually go there for lunch so I really enjoy the lunchtime combo meals. The eatery offers an array of other superior food items too, such as pizzas, soups, breakfast items and desserts. It's not an upscale dining place, but the ambiance and design of the eatery is very comfortable and higher in quality than an average a fast food restaurant.

    The food tasted good, but the temperature of the cavatappi was so hot I couldn't eat it right away. I put it aside for 10 minutes so I wouldn't burn my mouth. The spinach salad was very good. We were able to sit in a booth, rather than a table. We came after lunch rush and the place was fairly quiet and tables were clean. The cashier got our order wrong and when we indicated that there was a mistake she insisted that she was correct. We may eat here again but we'll make sure the order is correct.

    Chicken salad was too sweet & goopy, not enough chicken pieces! It was supposed to have cranberries in it, but had raisins.
    Caesar salad was good. Too much $ for what I got.

    Located in the busy Irvine Marketplace, Corner Bakery Cafe is one of those places you can meet folks for breakfast, lunch or coffee. Met some friends there and I just got a drink while my wife got lunch. I love that CBC has Coke Zero, which is my preferred fountain drink beverage.
