This is the place to come and get Vietnamese food catering. You can order big quantities for a party! We came to eat, not a lot of tables, more of a catering place. I got the bun bo hue and it was decent... very large size. We also got the combo rice plate which was good. They also sell marinated meats for your party needs. The boba drinks were way too sweet. The pricing is Irvine pricing meaning it ain’t Westminster or anything. Overall, average Vietnamese food.

How does this place not have 5 stars? I went with some friends for lunch that had never had Vietnamese Iced Coffee OR a Bahn Mi. They loved it! The coffee puts all other coffee shops to shame and the baguettes the sandwiches were made with were the perfect balance of soft, chewy, and crispy. The service was outstanding. The gentleman who helped us was friendly and made recommendations to my friends. I would eat here every day if it were closer to home!

This was my first time here, I will now be a regular. It is fairly small inside as far as seating goes, but there are also a lot of really nice tables outside. I'm usually pretty particular as to what I like to eat so when I find a restaurant that builds their menu around customization I get excited. That is exactly what Ha Long has done. They have amazing looking Vietnamese sandwiches, some rice bowls and other entrees, but I went there because of the customizable noodles. You choose which type of noodle, which type of protein and how spicy you want it. You have the option of getting it as a soup or stir fried. I got the spicy stir fried garlic noodles with bbq beef. The beef here is really good quality, tender and flavorful, not like chewing on a piece of rubber iron, you know what I mean. The staff here are also super nice and welcoming. While waiting an older gentleman who I'm assuming is the owner came out and asked me if I wanted any water while I was waiting which prompted me to buy a boba milk tea after looking at their fairly large drink menu. I'm super happy I found this place and can't wait to go back and try more things here.

Decent Viet place in Irvine. I believe that this is the southernmost restaurant in OC that offers banh mi. No place that I am aware of below Irvine (besides Lee's, which is garbage in LF) has banh mi. The banh mi was pretty good, the bread was fresh, not ridiculously crunchy, and had a nice balance of meat and vegetables, plus they included pate. Still, they charge around $5 for banh mi. What gives them the right to charge $5 for a product that costs 2.75 or maybe 3 in Little Saigon? Yes, the average commercial lease is higher in Irvine, but still that is not acceptable, and they get a minus star for that. The ladies behind the counter were nice. Good for lunch.
