Gurume Sushi

Decided to try this place and did not regret it. There was no wait time and I was seated immediately. I ordered the sushi harmony set with mixed tempura and surprised myself that I ate every bite. Sushi was fresh and didn't really need to dip it in the soy sauce. I was surprised that there was a good amount of wasabi between the fish and rice so for those that like to use lots of wasabi...you have been warned. The bite from the wasabi, the sweetness from the rice and the fish were well balanced and I can see why they call the set Harmony. Tempura was great, light and crispy and most importantly....fresh. I highly recommend this place. It isn't cheap but it was worth every penny.

This place is amazing! Great ambiance, great service. They have the omakase available, I had jelly fish for the first time. The overall service is 10 stars, Vic and Danny were really great people! We had such a blast here! Strongly recommend! New favorite sushi spot in OC!

This is a place to eat high-quality fish prepared by excellent chefs and drink fantastic sake.

Omakase is affordable and excellent atypical options! Friendly staff. Our favorite spot for special occasions!

We ate it so fast there was no time for pictures! This was the BEST sashimi I have had in Irvine. We had blue fin Tuna, New Zealand salmon and yellow tail. The service was lovely, the vibe quite elegant yet chill, and the decor understated but upscale. We will definitely be back with friends! 🥂

one of the best experiences my boyfriend(👇🏼) and I have had in a Sushi restaurant! the environment is so cozy and new, while the people are very nice and attentive! the Sushi Tempuras we had were delicious and now we go frequently!😍
