Olive Tree Chinese Kitchen

Found my new favorite Chinese food stop! Its located on side of the hotel and shouldn't be overlooked. Excellent food, especially the orange chicken! Also thanks to Elizabeth for great service!

Nice little hidden Chinese restaurant in Lake Forest. Service was great and the food was good.

What a great little find that my neighbor introduced me to. I have the veggie chicken Kung pow or orange and they are both delicious. It’s very small and usually crowded at lunchtime but to be expected. I would definitely recommend it I’m going next week with another friend.

This place is in Lake Forest and used to be on coast highway in Laguna Beach. It was the old Peony. The owner and the chef are the same and you can still get that amazing vegetarian chicken which taste like the real thing. And on the meat side all of my friends tell me how good it tastes so this place is definitely rocking.

The food, overall, was good. The egg flower soup was a bit overloaded with white pepper. The rest was good though.

The timing was off. My plate and an appetizer arrived, later my son's plate arrived, and then even later our last appetizer arrived. The waitress seemed disorganized, and seemed to be wandering around lost more than being purposeful and efficient. They forgot my son's order of fried rice. We had to seek her out for drink refills.

We had a nice meal, but we had to be a bit patient.
