Pho Akaushi

I am so happy my best friend took me to her go-to Pho spot. She told me once I try this spot it’ll be the only place I would wanna go. Well, she was right!

Tom the owner came and introduced himself and was so sweet and gracious. He was so excited for me to try their combination Pho. I even checked in on Yelp and got a fresh yummy beet juice with all the healthy fixings. Yum!

We ordered:
Truffle fries - can feed 4
Wagyu fried rice - can feed 4
Combination Pho 🍲

Their meat tastes so tender and juicy. Not rubbery at all. The broth made my stomach so happy. They do not have veggie broth, unfortunately BUT I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I recommend 10/10.

Food here is delicious. It’s one of the few places where I drink all the soup. Definitely give this place is a try you won’t be disappointed.

The beef pho was really yummy; the meat was very tender and the broth quite flavorful. The only thing I didn't know is that it comes with thick rice noodles, which I dislike. I had to order a side of thin rice noodles to not be unhappy. That's kinda unusual that it came with thick rice noodles; everywhere else I go, this dish comes with thin rice noodles so I didn't think I had to request thin rice noodles. But, it was really yummy after I ordered a side of thin rice noodles. The basil was also super fresh. I can't wait to go back next time I am in the area.

By the time we thought of writing a review for this place, we already finished our Pho. 😂😂
The beef was definitely something impressed me the most, and of course the Pho broth too! We also got the truffled fries (really crispy and tasty) and freshly pressed juice (make sure you order it when you come). It my first my being here and never knew the owner before but he treats every customer like friends and family. ❤️❤️❤️.

We recently discovered this gem of a restaurant and are elated. If you love Pho and then experience Chef Tom's absolutely delicious bowl of steaming Pho with home made noodles (everyday) and then flavored with savory and delicious Akaushi Wagyu, you will immediately start thinking about returning to this restaurant. The service is outstanding and Chef Tom is indeed a fantastic host. Best Pho in Orange County - traditional and seriously authentic. Thank you, Chef Tom for relocating to Lake Forest.
