Hof's Hut Restaurant & Bakery

Great food. Large portions. Reasonable pricing. Amazing deserts. Free birthday meal when you sign up. Location has been here for many decades but remodeled not long ago.

This is one of my favorite bakery restaurants.
I usually get the fried chicken, which is boneless and delicious!
The desserts are to die for. Chocolate Wipeout Cake is delicious but I wasn't too fond of the chocolate cake with strawberries. Very light and not very dense.
The cupcakes are square, which is fun and something different, and are very good as are the mini pies!

This is a disappearing California treasure! I have been going to Hof's Hut since I was a teenager. Same great quality and service. Fantastic Chicken Tortilla Soup. Yummy Burgers and fresh onion rings. Nice selection of bakery treats. Breakfast served all day. I highly recommend it.

First time here. Food is amazing, and while the prices are a bit high when looking at the menu, the portions are generous. Service was quick and attentive.

I was here with friends during lunchtime, and we were not rushed by staff to leave even though we were finished with our food.

Since I ordered breakfast (served all day!) I ordered coffee, and was amazed when I noticed that I was given my own pot! For me, there's nothing worse than waiting for coffee refills, so this definitely earned the extra star.

Overall, a positive experience.

I'm in the area at least once a month, so will definitely be returning.

Food and service are consistently good. I had the tuna sandwich on squaw bread, but liked the club sandwich at a previous visit much better. That's what happens when you watch calories. My sister had a Caesar salad that she couldn't finish. The decor is pleasant and comfortable. This particular location has more space inside than others and much more than you would guess from the outside or on entering.
