Katella Deli - Bakery - Restaurant gets 5 stars and I so would give more stars on Google maps if I could. This place has such good meal options and so many delicious baked treats. Its a must go. 8 ) I was happy to be able to buy my older brother his favorite cake at Katella Deli- Bakery for his 41st, but also his last birthday. R.I.P bro. Thank you Katella Deli-Bakery for having that cake available on a last min request.

Not the Katella I grew up with. Menu is much smaller even as the prices have gone way up. I remember my classic corned beef being much bigger and with thicker sliced of pumpernickel. Food is good but $9 for a bowl of soup? The bakery is as good as always.

When I'm craving some of my Grandma's homemade chicken soup, I head over and grab some "chicken in a pot." It's enough for 2 meals. The chicken is butter tender, carrots, little onion and celery...lovely noodles, matzo ball and a kreplach. Don't miss the bakery. Marzipan reigns with their rainbow cookies and almond horns. Carrot cake, German chocolate cake....some of the best I've tasted.

This is a place that I have been going to for over 40 years.
It's definitely had its ups and downs, I noticed on this particular visit they had been doing some remodeling they had removed a main wall that opens it up and makes it look bigger... Very nice!
On this visit there were two girls that were doing the greeting and seating and one of them (Layla) could use a little help learning how to greet people better... She wasn't very friendly and I didn't feel she was as helpful as she could be.
Our waiter and the one that was helping him was awesome both of them we're very helpful, very attentive to our needs.
The food there is amazing and they have a dish called noodle kugel... that if you've never had it, you have to try it!
It is so good!
I noticed in the remodeling that they have done, the deli has some new Deli cases which are really nice!
If you go to this restaurant... inside they have a deli Bakery to the right when you're entering.
if you get a chance after you're done eating you should visit the deli and bakery to take home some fresh bread or some fresh little goodies that they make.
They have a lot of amazing Sweets that I know most people will say they really don't need it, but I think once in awhile it doesn't hurt to live a little!
