In Short,
It’s a good chicken sandwich shop with good garlic sauce.
With a few more details,
The hype on socials was way more than you see when you get there. They don’t treat your sandwich the same unfortunately. It’s the stepchild version.
Nonetheless the flavors are there, but I wouldn’t drive from a far place for it to discover it was in a food court in a mall and no they do not bast your sando before they give it the grill marks.
Good thing I was just passing through and decides to try this.
Service was good. Good display of the chicken turning on the spits in the rotisserie. It was delicious but the atmosphere in a mall food court is less than ideal.
The chicken was in good amount in the sando, toum sauce was pretty good, fries were good too.
If I’m in the area I’d hit this spot again but I wouldn’t drive from more than a few mins to get to it.
My photo does not do the food justice, unfortunately. I ordered the Hippie Bird and added chicken. Healthy. Delicious!! Filling. The service is excellent. Yesterday was my first visit, and the staff was so helpful. They let us sample a sauce along with a few fries. We were sold on the first bite. Highly highly recommend. Thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcomed! We can't wait to go back!
I didn’t know what this place was the first few times I passed by, but decided to finally give it a shot. And I have to say that I was more than pleasantly surprised when I realized that this is actually a Lebanese restaurant in disguise.
I say in disguise because the cultural heritage of the food is not advertised, instead it’s advertised as a rotisserie chicken spot. But chicken grilled flat, and pita wraps with toum and pickles is a staple Lebanese dish iykyk. But I digress.
Overall The food was great, first time I got the plate, second time I got the pita wrap. Chicken was fantastically seasoned and moist, ingredients are of great quality, seasoning and flavors on both entrees and sides are consistent with what I would expect of a Lebanese dish. It’s authentic, but it’s simple and can be an enjoyed by all walks.
Give it a shot, it hit my tastebuds and my nostalgia just right. Can’t get Lebanese food that tastes right very often, especially south of Anaheim. So this is a treat.
Stumbled across this new place in the Mission Viejo mall and was very happy with the options. A healthy "fast food" alternative, absolutely loved the fresh flavors mixed with the rotisserie chicken and the french fries were crispy and potato-y. Pricier than other "fast food", but clearly fresh made and worth it for the sizes and quality.
* ordered the vegetarian wrap and added chicken!
* love the name and logo, and the branding to match!
Dining at the dizzy bird, practically changed my life. I don’t think I would initially try this restaurant, but my friend told me about it and encouraged me to go with him. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the food because I was so hungry, but I highly recommend the pulled chicken wrap. It is especially good with double chicken. The fries are to die for and a fountain drink brings it all together so nicely. They had a friendly wait staff and food was cooked right in front of you. I would 10/10 recommend trying this as a semi healthier alternative (Esp if you don’t get fries).
