Kitayama

I came in for dinner with a friend on a Thursday evening. We were greeted and seated right away, the booths are separated from the aisle with curtains so it was great for visiting and catching up. The food and the service were both fantastic, tons of menu items to choose from. Love this place!! ????????????????

Awesome sushi restaurant. Good tempura and appetisers as well. Sake selection is good. Everything was expensive. Nigiri priced per one piece. Some sushi was worth it some not. Not consistent in which were which. Good place. Good service. Good ambiance. A little fancy.

Good food, nice view, plenty of room. Solid overall. The sushi offerings were extremely straight forward. No fusion or fun stuff, so no wild side at all, but solid.

Good Japanese food. Pricey, but there are some reasonable lunch deals. Would recommend. There are seats with very good seats. The atmosphere and the interior design is good. There are curtains in front of the booths which make it seem more private. The photo is of Chirashi Sushi.

I came here with some friends and the ambience is really nice. We got one of the rooms outside and it was super cool. We had to take off our shoes and there was a sliding door. The table was close to the floor and it looked like we had to kneel on the cushions. But actually there was a hole underneath the table where we could put our legs so we were sitting normally.

I got the salmon entree was was DELICIOUS. I would definitely get it again. Their fried pork belly appetizer was amazing too. Portion sizes are a lot smaller than I expected (though this is coming from a girl who almost never eats at fancy restaurants).

The prices are a bit high but the food and the experience was totally worth it. Service was slow, which I docked a star off for, but I would definitely come again for a special occasion.
