Good fresh food. Service is pleasant and helpful but can be slow. I like their breakfast selections. I live nearby so like having a quiet place away from the commercial strip on Marine Ave on Balboa Island. If you take the ferry over from the peninsula it is a block down the street.

Uniquely prepared delicious food. Their Mac-N-Cheese is craveable comfort food. The fried chicken salad has a playfully spicy dressing with very crisp and yummy fried chicken. Their meatballs are smothered in a hearty marinara sauce. Save room for the enormous cookies. Snicker-doodle, peanut butter, and chocolate chip.

Unique food prepared very well, although understaffed they manage to attend to service as long as your patient. Servers have too many tables during busy periods and they would do well to staff up a bit.I would recommend it for comfort food and variety. They put their own twist on traditional comfort style.

Cute little place in an unlikely location. Very trendy and clean, well-designed interior and classy. Although it's not for everyone, the liver pate is a great aperitif that comes perfectly with a glass of red. A choice of indoor/outdoor seating is available. This place is conveniently located away from the main streets of the island so it's kind of quiet and less stressful. Street parking is available, probably more difficult to find during busy days.
