Great location including valet parking. The food was good with an interesting twist to normal Mexican food standards. A busy nice place for good Mexican food. A little on the loud side but only because of it's popularity. Service was very attentive and prompt.

Amazing food and amazing service! My boyfriend and I were visiting California for the weekend and we stumbled on this place - absolutely loved it. Humberto was our server and he was very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Max was a fabulous server! He was friendly AND helpful! The food was very flavorful. Loved every bite! The drinks were fabulous, too. We loved being on the water and the live music.

Sol provides a low key chill vibe to Newport Harbor. This is not your typical lunch truck Mexican food. I would deem it authentically progressive and is definitely true to taste. The portions could be larger and happy hour adds to the affordability factor. I'd deem this a definite date spot after a drive down PCH.

Now, this is one that deserves the five stars! Great friendly and attentive service. Great management of a big, well decorated and roomy restaurant with a nice view. It is on the high end but prices are not extravagant for the quality of food you get. Very well made and tasty food. Aside from the octopus being a little overcooked, the soup itself was very tasty and the rest of the food was fantastic. You have to try the roasted corn on the cob as they bring it to you and cut it off the cob for you at your table. Definitely a must try place if you're in the area!
