Rendez Vous French Bakery and Cafe

This restaurant is doubtless one of the most pleasant place to eat in the region. Anytime I visit this place I am truly pleased. They preserve their high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they provide. You definitely will enjoy this this place. Highly recommended.

This place was wonderful! My wife and I were walking to Rose Bakery but passed RendezVous a couple of blocks away and almost stopped. Upon arriving, Rose was very crowded and there was a long line, so we went back to the much quieter Rendez Vous. The breakfast omelettes were fresh and the cheese inside very authentic to French cuisine. The baked items were the highlight. We shared an almond croissant with true almond paste right out of the oven and also a glazed apple croissant. Both were the best we’d ever had. The dining area was never too busy and the wait staff was very friendly. The decor is a dated French stereotype that could probably be updated. Wish we lived in the area and could come back often.

This place is worth a try. They have large portions for convenient rates. Always well organized and with good character. Will come back again.

We are just visitors to the area and we tried many local restaurants and coffee shops. Rendez Vous is one of the 2 restaurant s my mom asked to go a second time. Good service. Good food.

This is my second time enjoying the delicious food beverages and desserts from this small French bakery in Corona Del Mar. It's a great way to treat ourselves before heading down to the beach. They have a good array of choices for breakfast crepes, omelets, sandwiches, smoothies, coffees, etc as well as several display cases of bakery treats to enjoy or take with. When I visited last year with my friends I knew I needed to come back with my family to let them enjoy it as well.
