All of the food was amaaazing! Stopped by on a Friday evening and the shop was packed. Ordering was a breeze and the food didn't take long to come out.Wagyu burger 4/5: good flavors! I'm usually someone who enjoys sauces and drenches their burger in condiments, but everything was so well seasoned that I enjoyed it as is. The only commend I have about the burger is that it's missing texture - I would order extra lettuce next time!Takoyaki 4.5/5: crispy Takoyaki with a soft and hot interior. Sauces pair well with the squid :)
Fries: BOMB! Definitely a shareable portion.
Spicy chicken sandwich: the star of the night! I preferred this over the burger. Great flavors, texture, juicy chicken, and the buns were good too!On the way out my boyfriend and I sat and contemplated if we should walk down the street for dessert. A really nice worker dropped off the extra shake from an order for us to try. We'll be getting the Ube shake next time!! 10/10.
Incredible! I got the Teriyaki Wagyu Burger and my boyfriend got the Ojai Wagyu Burger, and we shared the Spicy Miso Fries. The burgers were the most delicious burgers I’ve ever had, and the fries were crispy full of spicy powder. My boyfriend loved that they offer $5 beer all day. We will definitely come back and we 100% recommend 🤤
The vibrant atmosphere of Ojai caught our eyes when we were taking a stroll in old town, we did not regret giving it a try at all! When we finished our quick meal, my friend said “ this is going to be my go-to places for burgers”
I got the wagyu burger. The patty was very moist and juicy, not too oily (many wagyu burgers are) but full of flavor. The bun was buttered and crispy, what I liked the most was probably the sauce- a slightly tangy, garlicky flavor. The amount of sauce was very good as well, not too much that your burger gets soggy by the time you finish.
My friend got a chicken sandwich, it was great! Crispy on the outside but tender and juicy in the inside.
We got the spicy fries too, though I usually prefer thick cut fries, this was very nice, perfectly seasoned and even better with the Ojai sauce.
The seats were clean and staff were super friendly too! Would def recommend!
There are a lot of places to grab a burger in the Circle, but this is my new favorite!
Super tasty sauces and toppings, the burger meat is incredibly tender and flavorful, and the chicken sandwich has a very unique crispy crunch!
I didn't try the fries yet, but they look epic.
My wife and I were walking in Downtown Orange, and we walked past the front door of this restaurant. We spoke with Carl, one of the investors/owners. He was telling us about the restaurant and the uniqueness of the menu. We noticed the mochi waffle on the menu, and we decided to try it. Also, their soft opening is today and tomorrow, and everything on the menu was 50% off. The waffle was soft and had a lot of flavor. It is perfect for people that have to eat gluten-free due to health reasons because it is made with rice flour.
The people sitting at the same outside table as us got one of the chicken sandwiches, and the size of the chicken fillet was very generous. It will be worth trying it the next time we come into the restaurant.
All of the staff were very nice and helpful. This restaurant is a great addition to the downtown area.
Update (07/17/2022): I came back today to try the Ojai Chicken Sandwich. It was juicy and delicious. It was not greasy. Everything included worked well together.
