    We ate at the San Juan Selma’s yesterday. This was our first time at Selma’s. The server was great. The pizza was sub par at best when compared to authentic Chicago pizza. I am a Chicago native and I feel if you claim to serve Chicago pizza than you should deliver.
    We ordered the thin crust. The sauce is bland with almost no taste. The crust is flat and gummy. The sausage was decent but under seasoned. To top off our first experience I was told to my face that the chef would not cut our pizza into squares. I laughed at first thinking this was a joke but our server said he refuses to do it. In Chicago, all thin crust is cut into squares. This was plain stupid. Why couldn’t the chef just cut it like the customer asked? Lazy was all I could guess. I will wait for great pizza when I visit Vegas or Prescott. I should have ordered a sandwiche.

    Busy place, come early. Great pan pizza. I love that they give back to the community through fundraising events!
