El Adobe de Capistrano

History, if any thing else come for the history of this restaurant. This Adobe, built in 1797 by Miguel Adobe has seen alot of change. Read their history on their web site. Good Cal-Mex food, margaritas, and service. Weekends can get busy, parking in back. Located in the heart of San Juan Capistrano, a block from the mission.

This place is incredible. Be sure to make a reservation because it gets crazy busy. The food is authentic and the service is excellent. Tableside guacamole service is impressive.

Its a nice place to eat, the food is great. I ordered molcajete. It is was delicious, the staff was friendly. The only thing i did not like was that there was a 40 min wait to get a table inside when i did see anybody ahead of me. So we decided to to to the patio to not wait. It was a rainy day, they have heaters outside but i would've preferred to sit inside.

What a wonderful place. Incredible building with great service and fantastic drinks. Love sitting at the bar and passing the evening. Didn't have the food but that's next as it looked incredible!

How have I never eaten here! Great, busy, traditional Mexican Restaurant. Has an interesting menu, but its all very tasty. Refreshing margaritas and made-to-order guacamole crafted at your table! They even have a very good kids menu for the little ones! It can get noisy, but it's a really enjoyable experience!
