Dog Haus Santa Ana

Food was awesome but we got the salty caramel shake and it was different than the last time we got it. Tasted like caramel but didn't have any liquid caramel on it like it used too. So it unfortunately didn't taste as good and that's our favorite thing to get, so it's down a star for me. :(

Menu isn't huge, I like that. Makes ordering easier. They have tots.... Was thinking of putting a couple in my pocket just in case I get hungry later. Got the Downtown Dog with a brat. Service is fast and friendly. Place is really clean. This was a good decision.

Really good dogs! They use the Kings Hawaiian bread for the buns. Also a really good beer selection, but instead of just ordering a beer and them handing it to you, you put money on a card, take it over to the beer taps, select your beer and pour yourself. Most people dont know how to pour beer properly so you might get a lot of foam and no beer.

Really good but also really rich! Get there hungry and ready to eat. I didn't try this but ask that they not put as much salt in the fries if possible. It is good but the salt on the fries plus the slightly over salted chili gets a bit overwhelming after a few bites. I had the Hangover burger and the chili cheese fries. I liked it but if you prefer your food only lightly salted then this is not the place for you.
