This place went above and beyond service during this Covid-19 craziness. Staff was extremely friendly and made things so much easier and relaxed. The best Katsu sauce I've had to date. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in the area.

They're all set up for takeout during the statewide Covid-19 lockdown. They take your order and you pay at the front door. You get your food in minutes, super fast! They have a little counter height table on the sidewalk outside (no chairs) that you can belly up to and chow down your food. But the restaurant is about a block from the pier, so I took my delicious Loco Moco to the benches at Eisenhower Park just north of the pier. Great food! Great view!

The food is good here although not always consistent. The wine tastes a bit vinegary or watered. This place has the potential to be amazing, if they don't run out of sprouts or shrimp, the menu says is in a dish. They need to up their game and not chintz out to save a dollar or two.

Overall it was great with little misses. Staff was very friendly, helpful and laid back. Decor is fun and very clean.
Pork rolls were okay, not great. Nothing notable about the flavor. The sauce was a mismatch as well.
Spam musubi was very good. Rice was sticky, sauce was balanced and the seaweed was soft.
Pulled pork sandwich was top shelf. One of the best I've had in a long time. Crispy onions added a nice crunch as well. Only complaint is that it is heavy, but that is somewhat expected for that sandwich. THE FRIES WERE PERFECT. Crisp outside and soft inside.
The combo Plate was good as well. Both the chicken and the beef were tender and flavorful. Mac salad was really good. Something that seems hard to find on the mainland. Rice was NOT good. Very, very dried out. For me, that's a crime.
