I really enjoyed their bbq eel and salmon! It was nice to find a Japanese place with authentic flavor and great service. Will come again for sure!

I got 3 items , unagi, shisyamo, Ume shiso with yamaimo.
I made the handrolls myself and
I really enjoyed the quality and flavor of the all the ingredients.
Place was spot less and had great service.

My wife and I were the first ones in for the grand opening on 08/08/18, and we really enjoyed our visit.

The diy concept is interesting. You select 3 proteins per person. When the food comes out you are provided the nori, sushi rice, veggies, and other accoutrements on a big plate. You then get the chance to make a dozen or so small hand rolls.

My wife and I had a good time with all the combinations, and family style dining is always fun. The staff was super attentive and nice, and I wish them all the luck with their restaurant and concept. More Tustin sushi is a good thing.
